  • San Biagio

Almost forgot to post my best fig of the season.
San Biagio is a rare variety from Italy.
It produces small but delicious figs, the size comparable to De La Senyora MP, about 18 to 25 grams at most.
First year it produced for me, perhaps they'll get a little bigger as the tree matures.

Looks really nice.... looks like it is bursting with goodness.... What flavor profile do you think it falls under?

It's a berry type but got a citrus- like acidic taste to it, very hard to describe.
Very unusual taste for a fig, but i really got to appreciate them!

Very nice Rob! If it's your best of the season and you expect it to improve, sounds like a real winner.

Nice figs Rob, even if they are small, what about their ripenning time, how early are they compared to your varieties?
