  • A Little Winter Info

In addition to my 125 or so trees at my house, I have another 30 or so in ground trees at a friends house about
25 miles from me. We checked them all out yesterday and made room for another six trees and planted some
black berries. None of these trees have any protection and we have had some temps in the single digits for the
second year in a row. I will make a later post of how all of these trees fared this winter.

This eight year old Hardy Chicago looks great. It has many buds that are ready to explode.

This fourth year Desert King has many small brebas.

This is LSU Tiger and it has really surprised me as I tried to kill it several times before putting it in ground.
It looks like it is ready to go this spring.

Very curious on what handled winter well and what did not. Looks encouraging Mike.
