Below is a list of varieties that might be thought of as Mt Etna (or Mongibello) fig cultivars, strains, sports, or close relatives due to their identical, very, or somewhat similar leaves and fruit. Most or all seem to be relatively early to ripen (main crop). This is a tentative list always open for subtraction, deletion, or other correction. As far as I'm aware, this type of fig has been formally studied mainly under the name Marseilles Black.
