If you're looking for a base/cloth layer for your medium in-ground trees, Wal-Mart has fleece blankets on sale for $2.50. I use 2 for the Marseilles--it's pruned to about 6' tall. After that I add garbage bags and then build box filled with free county mulch around it. Anyone in the area, there's a huge bunch of the mulch by Bull Run Marina in Clifton if you know the area. 3 mountains of it last night!
