Thanks for posting the link Frank, it will be interesting to see what they end up going for.

By the way, Rosso di Trani is the real name of the cultivar Lubera sells as "Peretta."
I've seen Peretta on quite some people's wish list so this might be your chance to get one.

Frank, do you know this gal? My mother lives in Cocoa Beach and I'm sure she'd love to visit.

Bob, Olga and I have communicated and made some trades. Pauley22 has visited her. She is a great lady. IM her via F4F and tell her about your Mom.

              Frank,
Nowadays, nearly all cuttings up for auction on eBay are labeled "rare" ;-) Nothing mundane or run-of-the-mill gets sold there anymore!!! Even the Brown Turkeys, Hardy Chicagos and Brunswicks are labeled "rare." (No offense to any of those fine varieties intended!)

Isn't that the truth. That is why I never use the word rare, or any hype for that matter....I list what the variety is and that is it, figure people can look it up and make their own decisions if they want it.

I suppose "rare" is a relative term. I do know that what Olga listed are not BT's or Brunswicks.

                  Frank,
I should also have added "no offense intended to Olga's offering." I was definitely just making a joke and observation about the overuse of the term "rare" on cuttings that are definitely not rare! I'm not implying that her's aren't.
Sometimes posts (like emails) don't always come across the way we intend.
                  Cheers,
                  Jim

Might as well strike while the iron is hot.
The bid is already over $100.
