I put a bunch of garlic cloves in the bottom of each barrel.

barrels everywhere
So I'm a little late in posting these, but I tried using barrels from work to help protect some plants. I trimmed and tied the branches together, covered them with burlap, then filled the barrels with dry mulch. with one of the taller plants, I tried a stack of two barrels to see how much it might be protected. The barrels have a slightly smaller top, which allowed me to use the cut bottoms as covers. You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. This gallery has 3 photos.3 PhotosTags: None
