I was a really special day and I'm glad I got a chance to attend. I was looking forward to going the next year, but was sorry to hear it had been cancelled. Hoping they will do another one.

Best opportunity I ever had to learn about figs. Meeting Dr. Johnson was really great. Only down fall was the time went by so quick.

Dont give up hope,they recently received a grant from the government to continue operations at the farm......but they also recently cut down 2 rows of mature fig trees..........

hmmmm, I need to drive down and meet him. Talk to him and see if he knows any folks here! I'm sure he is a wealth of knowledge! Need to get some documented LSU fig information from him.
