Congrats! Always exciting, even if you have done a bunch before, but that first one is kinda special

Wonderful job. It is belle feeling no? Now come the test of discipline. ONLY water that thing if the pot feels extreme light weight. Or stick a chop stick in it and leave for a minute and pull out and see how damp the stick is. # 1 mistake we ALL have mad is overwatering a cutting and killing it. I say while the leafs are still budding get it in direct sunlight and just remember watch the watering. Less is more !

Congratulations Jonathan Remember less water is better than more water
The panache is a wonderful and beautiful fun fig that needs a longer growing season. Should do well for you out there in California

Great work, congratulations! May you enjoy the fig addiction in years to come! Less is definitely more in terms of water. I learned that lesson.gbs hard way as well. My first season I have a cup of water a day, it's a testament to nature's will to survive that so many of my originals survived!
