    It would probably be better to make it in a jar rather than a bucket.

    It does sound good however. I made a lot of fruit-flavored vinegars this past year, and a fig vinegar made in a similar fashion would probably be good too.

    I've not done it yet, but I think making something like limoncello with figs might be both easy and good. I'd slice and dry the figs first however, to cut down on moisture. Something like dry figs, sugar, and vodka. Steep for a month. Enjoy.

    Has Anyone Made Fig Vino or?

    I am curious as to many of you have grapes and berries as well figs... But I am thinking about trying to make my own fig wine as well as Fig balsamic glaze sauce and maybe a fig ice cream. I found a local beer by Goose island called "Black Mission" made with fig. Unfortunately it is only made once in a while and is only available in keg for bar. We have made wine before with grape. Just not fig. Maybe you have or I would like to hear what you make before that was wonderful. Not like last post of favorite recipe but something flavored with fig.
