Hello all,
I repotted and trimmed a couple Hardy Chicago trees this past weekend and I have a ton of extra cuttings and I thought I would share them with the forum.
My tree is an offspring of a tree that was kept inground here in Eastern MA in the 6-8 foot wide and high range. My sister in laws father used to surround it with hay bales, stuff the center with leaves and then cover the whole thing with a tarp.
My brother-in-law has a 4yr old offspring of this tree in Virginia Beach and it's now 6' wide and tall.
This is my workhorse fig. I get loads of fruit starting in late August through October.
Instead of just offering them on a first come first serve basis, I'm raffling them off for FREE. No charge to enter, no charge if you win.
Rules are as follows:
- limited to 10 participants
- must say in this thread that you are interested by saying something like "please enter me". No PMs.
- we'll use the Sunday night (4/2) Florida Play4 numbers for the winners. http://www.flalottery.com/pick4
- the numbers will be assigned randomly after 4pm on Saturday
- we'll go left to right with the numbers. If the number is 9234. Then the person who has #9, #2, #3 and #4 are winners.
Continental US only. No international shipping.
