My hands are normal size...I think. I'll be trimming this guy in the fall so remind me too. This is a nice fig. Seems to love high temps and has a nice flavor. And for me, it is very prolific with tons of breba. Way ahead of all the other figs I have.

I haven't sold figs yet. It's fun giving them away. I gave away about 10 this last week to friends. But I potted 50+ rooted cuttings yesterday so who knows. My kids want to sell them on craigslist. We'll see. I know I won't have room for them, except for a few.

Very nice Ajv73 congrats. I accidentally knocked off my only breba fig this year.

Looks great, even pulling it a bit early, I'm sure it's delicious!

Yep...this is one from you Art. The one you had labeled as "McGill". You thought it was a Conadria. Looks similar to pics on Conadria in all ways. That tree lives in the greenhouse in a plastic olive barrel. It has gotten very large - very quickly. Between breba and second crop it probably has well over 100 figs on it. Not bad for a young tree. Thanks!

started a topic New for me!

    New for me!

I used to always bury my figs - the old school way. I built my greenhouse and wintered them in there instead this winter. Now I'm getting breba, which never happened before. This is one, picked a bit early, since I'm headed on vacation. But this is exciting stuff - especially since I'm in PA. Thanks for looking.
