  • Introduction

This is Gene Daniels, I just found this site a few days ago. Most of you I recognize from figs4fun where I have been hanging for a couple of years.

Fruits and berries are my only significant hobby, I have 3 kinds of raspberries, 5 kinds of blackberries, elderberries, 2 kinds of black currants, 3 kinds of gooseberries, and of course figs. I have 7 varieties inground, and 4 more in 5 gal buckets that I can take in and out of the ground. My goal is to identify 5 or 6 that do really well here in Central Arkansas, and then have 2 of each.

    Blessings to each of you!

                              Hi gene, welcome.

I have Rosbourgh and Brazos blackberry going. I got 3 Brazos starts last year and 3 Rosbourgh this spring. The Brazos are too sour to eat fresh but they make some of the most wonderful jelly. I can't get enough.

                              What varieties do you have?
