  • Semi-OT: World's Largest Greenhouse Complex, Mar de Plastico

Saw this photo series today, had to share it. Enormous greenhouse complex in SE Spain that covers over 185 sq. miles. Called 'Mar de plastico'. I'll bet you could grow a lot of figs under there!

Ah, sea of plastic! I have something similar on my property, but not as benign.
It's a sea of poison ivy. Underneath it is the sea on Lyme ticks

      Rui,

If you can, get some guinea hens, they will clear the ticks like ruthless assassins! Then get a few dwarf or pygmy goats, believe it or not, they plow through the poison ivy.

That's an amazing sight! Must take a lot of water for all of that.

It truly is amazing. The amount of people and resources to keep it all operating must be astounding.
