  • St Rita Breba 2015

This is my first fig from this second year tree and it has one more breba to go. It also has
a good many main crop to ripen. This fig was very sweet but not the strong berry
flavor I have read about, it least not yet. I have added some leaf pics.

I've heard lots of good things about this fig from a friend that grows it. It was one of his
favorites last summer. Wait until the main crop. It should be much better. I think some people place too much emphasis on Brebas, on a two crop fig. He's sending me a one gallon and I can't wait to get it.

Very nice looking inside and out Mike . Looks a bit like a Negronne. Any resemblance to the tree itself? Leaf ,growth habit. Thanks for sharing.

Chrisk, I added some leaf pics to the original post. I have what was sent to me as a Large Negronne but
they do not look alike. The growth habit thus far is fairly fast and took on a bush form without any
          assistance from me.
