  • Introduction

Hello all. I am new to this forum and a newbie in general. I have been over at f4f for 2 years or so. I have an atreano, a hardy Chicago cutting rooting and a potential RDB trade in the works. Not looking to end up with a giant collection as I barely have room for what I have now (maybe just another one or two) I am mostly out of space and the wife already thinks I have too many plants. I like to spend time learning about figs and general gardening on this and other forums. I am in queens, NYC and grow all in pots in my concrete backyard (except one in ground grapevine).
    Thanks

            Welcome

just this morning I was having exactly the same conversation with my wife......we have 5 acres to work with.....she asked if I already had plants of the new cuttings on the table which had arrived yesterday...LOL

you're in good (and dangerous) company.......I understand there are a few cracks in sidewalks in Queens.......find a crack and fill it

Welcome to the forum! Good luck sticking to your "2-4" plant principles. Somehow I see many potted figs in your future.

Ross, were those the cuttings I sent you? Hope they survived the 100+*F weather!

Welcome! If you move to the suburbs you will have more room for figs. Maybe it's time for a "Green Acres" talk.

In the meantime, enjoy the great figs you have.
