Good evening all, it’s raffle time.
This raffle is to benefit our home here at OurFigs, helping Wills pay bills!!
The tree(s) that are up for raffle were gifted to me and want to be part of perpetuating the generosity that has been shown to me.
Disclaimer:
The tree(s) offered here are cuttings rooted this year, they obviously have not fruited and cannot be proven true to form. Though they come from reliable sources and we all do our best keep names straight, unfortunately sometime mistakes happen. If you receive a tree that turns out to not be as advertised I do truly apologize, but it is a risk we all take regardless of where our trees originate. Hopefully it is a favorable mistake if there is one, and you enjoy your new tree.
Rules:
After a long debate, we have concluded that selling squares will be the best bet for this trial raffle. We will certainly find ways to stream line the raffles and they will get better with time. Please feel free to add constructive ideas to help in the stream lining process.
There are 100 squares available 00-99, they are only $3.00 per square. Numbers will be set up in the order that requests are received, and payment to WillsC is confirmed (PayPal [email protected]) so please be patient. I suggest putting in your preferred numbers and a list of alternates in the event your preferred numbers have already been sold. We will do our best to keep a running list of either what numbers are sold or which numbers are available, not sure which yet.
Picking the numbers:
To keep everything fair the numbers will picked by the Florida state PLAY-4 http://www.flalottery.com/play4. We will be using the numbers from Sunday July 19th (EVENING) drawing. That drawing takes place at 7:30PM EST.
The Prize(s):
First prize is the choice of:
Door #1: Violetta
Door #2: Black Sicilian Italian
Door #3: Calderwood
Second Prize (goes into effect ONLY if all squares are sold)
Door #1: Unknown Italian Nayak Purple
Door #2: LSU Champagne
How it works:
The PLAY-4 draws four numbers, the first prize winner is the first two numbers and the second prize winner is the second two numbers. EXAMPLE; if the lotto numbers are 5869, 58 is first prize and 69 is second. This allows everyone to participate, even Wills if he wants, and there is no way to manipulate the numbers. (Florida lottery employees are therefore barred from this raffle…LOL)
Shipping:
Shipping is on me, hopefully there are no issues with certain states, if so sorry there is nothing I can do about it.
I will send the trees as soon as possible and send the winner(s) tracking numbers. If the heat between Colorado and the recipient is to high to safely ship, I will postpone and wait for more favorable shipping conditions.
Please PM WillsC and myself so we can do our best to keep everything straight and on the level.
Again, please be patient this is the first raffle and I’m sure there will be some growing pains.
