This one is as good or better as some of the French figs I had a chance to sample recently. It is readily available but hardly evermentioned. You all know what I'm talking about right?

Maincrop from this season? I have heard good things about this one, but also that it takes a long time to ripen. It was one variety that failed to root for me this past winter, and given my short season I did not mourn too much.
