Under appreciated fig

I have several (10 or 11) Kadota trees and after 3 years they are producing for me. This is a good fig which should be counted as a "Honey" fig and is very prolific from looking at the number of figs per tree.

I guess it isn't sexy enough or doesn't have a sexy name to get the attention that some of the other boutique figs get but it is good fig and I will keep 3 or 4 for production. At this time, I am getting $5 lb at the local Farmer's Mkt.

I got these end of season at Lowe's for $3 each, bought all they had.

I believe I'd have to clean them out as well, for $3 a tree. Good business move!

If only the someone here carried fig trees..... I've tried to get them to... alas, they all think I'm nuts!
