I just got back from Myrtle Beach and had these ripe figs. They were a bit watery due to my dad watering them for the last week. He waters on the heavy side. I guess too much is better than not enough water..
They were still good. They have that nice berry flavor and always drip honey. Takes a few bites just to eat half of the fig.
I had few that were rotten on the ground and a few way over ripe. These big boys don't dehydrate on the tree.

Thanks Frank. I think you will like them. This is one of my favorite large figs.

Looks awesome as usual Art. I can't wait to have some figs that good and large at the same time.

      Art,

That is the one with the long finger leaves?

I wonder how much different the figs are, I have the one with out the long skinny leaves like stella. Vasile sent it to me last summer and I got one fig from it this season that was kind of small but really good flavor.

      Art,

How does it compare to JH Adriatic? Same level or is one much better?

Very nice figs. Congrats Art. Is is the same as Makedonia white ( not sure if it spells with a k or c) ?
So this is the one closer to the Dalmatie. Do you have both and do you have a favorite? Thanks again.

Not sure if it's the same as Makedonia White. I only have this VS.
I'm pretty sure that it's the same fig as Stella. Ripening time, figs, and leaves are all about the same.

Nice haul. Bigger figs seem to suffer more from excess water than smaller figs. Pulp to skin ratio may be the issue.

Wish List: I don't even know at the moment. A mild winter for nice growth in the Spring I guess?
