This was a good fig. I picked it a day or two early due to impending rain. Nice rich, almost peachy flavor. I am looking forward to more in the next few days. Thank you Kelby.

Very nice. I was able to acquire this cultivar through the generosity of two forum members, you know who you are and thank you again!!!
I am really looking forward to trying them in the coming years.

For those of you growing Bari-is is another 'Mt Etna' type? Does is seem different in any way from the common Mt Etnas? Size, flavor, leaf, ripening time?
Thanks for your opinions !!Ed

I saw that it is on a Mount Etna list, so I looked at the leaves and I (with my limited knowledge) would say yes. As far as fruit, maybe next year, more likely the year after.Scott - Colorado Springs, CO - Zone 4/5 (Depending on the year) - Elevation 6266ft
