  • Bari main crop

This was a good fig. I picked it a day or two early due to impending rain. Nice rich, almost peachy flavor. I am looking forward to more in the next few days. Thank you Kelby.

Very nice. I was able to acquire this cultivar through the generosity of two forum members, you know who you are and thank you again!!!

I am really looking forward to trying them in the coming years.

    Thank you for sharing Bill

For those of you growing Bari-is is another 'Mt Etna' type? Does is seem different in any way from the common Mt Etnas? Size, flavor, leaf, ripening time?
        Thanks for your opinions !!

Seems to have all the characteristics. It was almost identical in flavor to a few of my Gino black I had the same day.

Looks similar, I'll try to remember to take some comparison photos to my other Etna types when things are ripening.

I saw that it is on a Mount Etna list, so I looked at the leaves and I (with my limited knowledge) would say yes. As far as fruit, maybe next year, more likely the year after.
