  • Lyndhurst White 2015 Main

    This is a four year old tree that was placed in ground in April 2013 and
    it died back to the ground this past winter. It has come back and it
    has grown unbelievably. It grows in a very low growing manner only
    about two-three feet tall but spreads out like a vine.

    This fig was not as flavorful as last year but is still a pretty good
    green fig. It is a refreshing, not to sweet melon flavor. This particular fig
    has a more open eye than others off this tree this year. We gave it
    a 7 on a 1-10.

    Less flavorful or not, it is a beautiful and tasty looking fig.

    Mike, could you please add pics of the tree? I'm curious to see the growth habit you described.
