I got this Unk. a couple years ago from Ed Powers (EJP). Another good NY friend. This is a breba, but the main crop are just as large. This fig is very sweet for a large fig and isn't watery like big figs. It has kind of a honey flavor. It has such a late crop due to me letting it get frosted and starting from scratch back in April.
He initially thought it was an Adriatic type.

Art do you have a picture of the leaves? My neighbor brought a plant back from his sisters in GA that he called Mega Celeste but it isn't. It has HUGE figs that look like yours and are very late, wonder if it could be the same variety?

Click on the third picture. There are a few pictures of the leaves. I did get to eat a few main crop figs last year. But they were pretty late in the season. Next year it's going in the greenhouse.
