  • kitrinosyka karyas

    here we have a greek fig named kitrinosika karyas.
    its a common fig with deep complex taste and with nice red flesh.
    i hope you like it.

    I like it, Andreas. The red flesh is beautiful and so is the pale yellow skin. Nice one!

    Andreas I am beginning to think Greece is just incapable of producing any inferior figs lol....

      we do have some that are just ok,
      i dont care about them and just give them away...
      however, i do have a few more new ones that are awesome!!!

      Andreas, another beautiful fig, thank you for sharing. I too would like to visit one day, my company does work abroad so who knows..... prehaps just visit to visit.

    Greece is a great place to visit for any reason, but if you do, make it late August
    that way you will get to sample many great figs.
    oh!!! and most of the Greek islands are not bad as well... lol

              Yep, I still get to St. Pete often, Mom lives there Great downtown and food scene. And there are tons of local breweries popping up all over the Tampa Bay area.

              Weather has been absolutely awful here lately, it has been the rainiest summer I can remember. Fishing and diving have been really tough. I can't wait for that first cool front to bring some nice weather.

              I am trying to make up to Tarpon Springs soon for a little fig hunting and Greek food eating.
