  • Almaria 2015 Main

This tree was placed in ground in April 2015 and receives approx five hours
of sun per day and is mostly under high shade. It is doing pretty well under
these condition for a second year tree.

This fig was very berry and just the right sweetness for me. Although it is a
very small fig (maybe due to my conditions and second year tree) it has a lot
of potential. The skin is a little chewy with not much flavor and no seed crunch.
    I give it a 7 on a 1-10.

I don't know of this one but it looks like it has a lot of potential!

7 out of 10. It must have tasted good even though it has high shade.
Randall - Gulf Breeze, FL. zone 8b. Wish list: Anything that "newnandawg" - Mike, ranks as an 8 out 10 or higher.

Randall, it did have a good flavor and I have heard it may be or at least
close to Hardy Chicago. My fruit is smaller than HC but again it may
have something to do with my conditions. We shall see.
