This is my first fruit ever, on a 1st year plant gifted to me by a kind gentleman. Taste was good, but it does not match the complexity of a mature Preto yet. Love that honey drop.

I'm protecting a few figs on a very small tree .....hiding, moving from place to place under the cover of darkness so no one gets any ideas....the first one has shown color with the heat we've had lately....Ross B. Rafael, I certainly understand. I have lost so many figs to the critters this year. Several
are first time figs and two trees I am down to my last fig to try. I have a organza bag over
it, then a clear plastic cup cut down the side and I slide it down over it and then I have
bird netting over it. The critters can find a way. Its not just birds but chipmunks and
either possums or raccoons also.newnandawg 7b Newnan, GA
