  • Coll de Dama Rimada MP

Coll de Dama Rimada MP This is a yellow and green striped fruit. Sugars were not fully developed despite intensifying degradation of the skin. I had little choice but to pick it. I am showing a Panachee for contrast, Panachee are green and white. My two Rimada plants are both true but show different leaf patterns, shown here.

      Hi Rafael.
      Beautiful looking fig, enjoy.
How does it compare to panachee?

Great looking fig. Would also be interested in how it compares to panachee.

I wish I could say either of these figs performed up to their potential this year but a lot of my figs have just tasted watery or bland at times. I do expect the Rimada to be a better fig over time, if only because Col de Dame is the standard for me. The store bought Panachees I have been eating have a rich, citrusy taste and that shows me that Panachee has great potential as well.

This one ripened today, finished in the greenhouse. Split a bit, mashed a bit, sorry bout that.
