    Green Michurinska fig

    I found this tree some time ago. Today I went to take some pictures. It resembles very much Michurinska 10 so I named it Green Michurinska. It is an early and good tasting fig. After the fruits overripe, they shrink and fall on the ground. At this stage they are pure Jam and delicious.

    That is a beautiful big tree, and very nice looking fruit as well! I like the range of colors as it ripens and starts to dry. What a great find, well done and thanks for sharing.

      Wow, that looks awesome! I'm surprised the dried ones don't get attacked by birds, insects, and other critters.

          Yes, this is a wild tree, and it is more than 8-9m tall.

            The fruit does look amazing Pen, and that is a huge tree! I'm with Kelby, I would love the opertunity to grow it, I hope it makes it over some day. Thank you for showing us.

                        No. these are from last year. Breba starts at around 20-25 of June. and the main maybe a month later.

                        Cold hardy, early maincrop, and nice looking breba is a nice combination of traits for northern growers! Anyone in the US get breba?

                          I haven't so far but mine is still young. I should get a few main crop figs from mine for the first time in a couple weeks.
