    A perfectly ripe fig, pure haven
    Tastes like a peach , very soft skin, super juicy, large.
    Note: this is not a Mt Etna type.

    Thanks for posting. I'm looking forward to mine in a 2-3 weeks. My in-ground tree always fruits rather late but they are still good. I can only imagine how good they would be if ripened in late August.

        Love the photos, greenfig. Lucky you! The figs in the basket make me wonder whether Zingarella RW figs have an open eye?

          Those are Grantham’s Royals. The Zinga has mostly closed eyes. But in both figs, there is no void inside and the bugs cannot crawl in
