To lighten the load from winter preperation can you tell me what this is?

I bought this in April, from one of the more notorious websites and after waiting 6 weeks a tiny wisp of a plant arrived and after lots of nurturing and care, today it flowered!

I hope for your sake it's not Phaseolus caracalla. They look very similar. The Vigna has a wonderful fragrance and is well behaved. The Phaseolus is invasive with no fragrance.

A Latin name has 2 words, genus and species. Cochliasanthus caracalla is a synonym for Vigna caracalla (and vice versa). In this case you might be able to get away with it because there's only 1 species in the genus.

Actually, I believe this was one of the slower wins. These things have ended in less than 2 mins. I think Fabio won at least 1 that way.

I no win trivia or questionnaire. I did win falcon when was posted he had extra to give away but I see it right as I signed on to web and was very early in morning.
