Mine is in my greenhouse and that seems to be enough shade for most leaves to remain in good shape. It's grown from about 12" tall at the beginning of May to over 6' tall before I pruned it recently and it has quite a bit of fruit on it that should ripen before we get cool weather. I'm not expecting much for flavor but would be happy to be pleasantly surprised!

So if it is in shade, little to no figs but great variegation? In the sun little to no variegation but good fig production?
Tough call!

Thanks! Reminds me a Brown Turkey inside. I will update this thread when mine is ripe.
So you say it wasn't very special ?
