This is a second year tree in a ten gallon pot that has grown to about
six feet tall and about three feet wide. It has had three other figs
to start ripening but were dropped early on.

This fig is quiet large for a dark fig in comparison to my others. It had
a very smooth and creamy taste but I will wait until I taste several
others to give a taste profile. I will say that if it continues to improve
it could very well be as good as the best I have ever tasted. We gave
    it a 9 on a 1-10.

I think that fig deserves a hit on the like button!!!!
A 9 rating on one fig. I'll give it two thumbs up!! I hope it improves even more for you!
It sounds like it's living up to its reputation as an excellent tasting fig.
The eye looks fairly open, do you think it will be a splitter in rainy humid weather or does it hold out well in those conditions?

Tony, we have had 2.4 inches of rain while it was ripening and no split and
not watered down. Based on that and our hot humid weather I would say
that it shows great promise as being one that will not split and not retain
water and affect its flavors. We shall see!

Mike it sounds like it has a good resistance to rainy humid conditions, not like Paradiso which splits just thinking of rain. I'm currently doing a trade for I-258 and looking forward to it.
