I read online that carprified common figs ripen 8-10 days earlier. Has anyone confirmed this? It makes sense to me that figs hold at a certain stage of development waiting to be pollinated so they can form seeds, so this wouldn't be surprising. If true then is there any way for those of us with short seasons and no wasps to trick our figs into thinking they were pollinated? A hormone or something that could be sprayed? I feel like I'm stretching on this one
