  • Greetings.. My last Lsu gold

    This is the biggest fig that I ever had, due to tropical climate, we never could get brebas here..

    Welcome! Nice looking fig there. Why can't you get brebas in your climate? Where are you, anyway? People will always have a better idea of what you're talking about and give you better advice if you put your country or region along with your zone or some indication of your climate in your signature. Search on signature or see the sticky posts if you don't know how.

      What a giant fig. How did it taste?

      I rooted LSU Gold cutting this year. I never dreamed it was that large of a fig. I can't wait until next year or the year after, really.

          harborseal, thanks sir I live on south east asian region, there's only two season, rain and hot...i believe the first crop only produce properly after a dormant phase in winter

          jmaler, despite its large size but it's still sweet ,better then my genovese nero at the same size,

          here's the pic compare with genovese nero

                You don't get breba figs but do you get 2nd main crop figs instead? Thanks.

                  charlie, no.. its just the huge one,not the average..we can't get gigantic size like the Melanzana Merdoscola or nordland brebas here.

                  thx.. yes, i have 3 years old Desert King and Dauphine which is san pedro type , they only produce main crop that always getting fall
                  i have no idea how to get brebas properly...
