  • Ciao!!! Guess who's back!!!

CIAO to my family! I AM FINALLY HOME!!! Woo woo!! My apologies for no post yesterday but I become busy with getting re aquatinted with my home and to see the doctors. That and I am no longer on pills that make me goofy! Ahahah! Okay so here what happen to me... I am 36 year old until tis November 22... At July 30(when my first battle in hospital) I weight in at 251 pound. Most of you know my job but I case no... I deliver strictly 165lb kegs of beer (80+per day by myself) for a miller Coors distributor here in Chicago. Sometime is one at a time on hand cart some time two each trip. 1/2 of my body weight very strong muscle. My first week at July 30 I was diagnosed with diverticulitis with an small abscess. The keep me in hospital and medicate me I lose 9lb send me home. No big deal okay... One week go buy and I feel ok but Doctor call me and ask "where is your second catscan they give of me before my release" I say they never take of me... So he say " please go after work for CT (catscan) ) so I do. One hour later he say... "Mike you MUST for you life make clothes bag for week and get back to hospital because abscess is now at lethal size and may erupt" I say "CULLI CAZZI!" So I tells my wife she take me back. Now 2nd stay at hospital they do more than medicate. They put drain hose into my abs into abscess to drain fluid out and medicate so it will go away. Now one more week 10lb more lost they say abscess is empty and is good but they give me iv rx to stay on at home 3 week to make sure it stay gone. Nice vacation but I am too weak to do anything at tis time even go in my stairs. By the end of the 3 week I feel Belle! I go to see my dr to get my return to work paper and he say "I want to feel you belly" and then say " I need one more CT" so I do and go home with my return to work note.... Again he calls and say " I can not believe but pack another bag you must come back again one week.." I say " are you crazy!!" He say "I wish I was but abscess come back and is now tripples in size and because of the medication they give me from past month make my tissues so soft he afraid it will burst and leak lethal fluid in my body... Sooooo again. CULLI CAZZI!!!!!!!!!! Again!!! Now the do more CT and extra imaging and they say is very strange because normally tis no happen normally until adult in 45+ years of age. He say "must make operation" and out of thousands of tis type operation I am second youngest to do it which is good because he say my organs are young and strong but because of medications I may need colostomy bag few month. To me I cry. Is no sexy have @@@@ bag hang off my hip every day...-and I was afraid. Okay so day one he say"Michael we medicate again one week. No food or water. Just very very strong rx" 10lb less again. Then operation. After a week of discussing my condition with other special doctors I end up having a very rare case of diverticulitis with abscess and very large amount of Internal scar tissue. He say never they see tis ever before because for amount of tissue they say is years of infection but no feel pain because the scar tissue attached to all of my surrounding organs...bladder. Kidney ect. It never touched any vein to send pain signal to my brain so I never know. Operation day I feel like I was going to death bed because my family and friends come into operation consultant room while I lay in bed and prepare for operation and Doctor explained tis to them all ... "Michael has a rare case... I am the best surgeon in Midwest for tis operation and I feel confident but until I am inside mike I known no how bad is unless I hands on. So if I start and get stuck they air Lift me to Cleveland clinic which I hear is all country top drs. Mike most likely will need a @@@@ bag for few month but tis only cure for tis. " And they make me sleep... Now last year I buy vacation for me and wife for Mexico tis October 22 one week very expense and now I think about cancel because I no want to be seen in swimming with @@@@ bag in my hip. 6 hour later I wake up. No @@@@ bag!!!!! No big scar nothing!! I say "doc? What happen?" He say tis.... Mike you operation I may put on YouTube because you would be amaze at what we seen and did. They open my belly button and stretch out and at one lift pull all of my organs out of my body and rested on my chest as they separate them all from scar tissue. He say he was amazed himself how tis happen. He say the removed 1foot of my infected colon with the abscess still on in and reconnected both very healthy ends then organ by organ they cut off the mass, cleaned and put back in me and retighten my belly button. That's all... A hahahaha! But he ask me" you drink and smoke sì" I say " sì but more than I wish to admit" he say "Mike you have perfect organs liver and lungs! I can't believe you smoke and drink and I should become organ donor because how health my organ is" he say I have brand new perfect health body and insides with a new healthy life to start. No @@@@ bag no nothing. No restrict diet no more or less if my normal routine!! Unreal !! I had to stay one more week in hospital with no food again and rx for recover another 28 pounds because there was almost 13lbs of scar tissue they remove.... and the rest is history. I come home 2 night ago and feel like I set free from jail! No rx at home but still one month off if job to recover. I can no lift much and after losing 50 pounds total I look and feel like 90year woman. The wind could kick my ass... I am very weak but slowly getting around. Life is normal pain free (unless I cough or sneeze ) then is pain. But will be painless in few days. I pray I never see hospital again unless is when I drive past it!!! Ahahaha! So now I no drink too much and try quit smoke tobacco! And on my birthday to make new drivers licenses I will now make me a organ donor ! (I'll start the bidding to proceed ourfigs on my liver and lungs at $0.99) ahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! I attach photo of only sign of scar and me in my over laid in bed.. Maybe I will get some color lines on my profile now ahahahahahaha!!! I make joke at you ❤️ I want to thanks you all for your generous thoughts, prayers and messages and I have many thought and prayers for all of you at any time you need for any reason !! I am going to farm tomorrow to finally see my trees that I have no see in 2 months!! I will make post of tis too!!! I hope you all are well and now I must catch up on the forum to see what has been happening! I have missed you all greatly and I am back to reconnect with you all happy and healthy to converse and laugh!!!! VIVA OURFIG.COM You My Family Ti Amo Ciaoooooooo

Welcome back. Glad it all turned out good for you, Mike.

I gave up alcohol and tobbaco January 31, 1988, cold turkey. Take it one day at a time. It is doable. You just have to want to do it. After a couple years you can look back and say, that was the easiest thing I ever did, why did I wait so long?
