    Forum changes 2/26

    Threads are now at 25 per page.......more less?

    The who's online has been increased so it shows all members logged in, it now shows names instead of avatars......which do you prefer, Names? or Avatars?

    Cutting sales start Nov 1 at 9PM eastern time as always at willsfigs.com

            Names are good because not everyone sets up an avatar. That and for some reason many people have fig leaves or fruit...I don't get it.

                While you are in there tinkering, the edit timing of each post is about 2 minutes before the note that says something has been edited shows? Would it possible to change that to 5 minutes? I am a horrible typist and prefer to re-read my messages after they are posted. And I like to tinker with words a wee bit to help clarify, and add thoughts. Would that be something that could be done easily?

                  I liked the Avatars, and knew who they belonged too. It was a good brain stimulating tool to remember who had what picture. The names will work too. IMO everyone should have an Avatar, I am tired at looking at the no face shadow. Maybe you should change faceless shadow to something no one would want to have next to their name and they would make an Avatar.

                  Maybe you should change faceless shadow to something no one would want to have next to their name and they would make an Avatar.
                  I like this idea, maybe a sign saying "I'm not smart enough to post an avatar" or a really ugly gorilla pic or a little boy with a dunce cap on...the possibilities are endless
                  But I guess even the avatar-less people are our friends too, so we had better be nice to them.
                  Mabe a better option is for a daily auto-reminder sent to avatar-less members to post one.

                    Instead of faceless shadow, it could say "I have not found my Avatar yet".
                    Maybe they do not know how to make one and they do not think they have a picture editing software. There are some picture soft wares that can be downloaded for free. I use the one that comes on Microsoft based computers, it is called PAINT, it is in your accessories folder. It is very simple to use.

                  Is there a setting for when you open a topic that it zooms to where you left off reading it? For example, I read this post at 2pm so I had read everything up to post #5 and now I'm reading this topic again and it didn't zoom to post #6. Did I do something wrong? Is there a user setting for that?

                  The "other" forum seems to have that capability but I'm not sure if this one does, it's kind of a nice feature.

                  That already exists. When looking at a list of threads, on the left side of the title, there is a little blue circle with a couple subtle white arrows inside. Click on that and it will take you to where you left off reading.

                  Or if you prefer, to the far right of the page, to the right of the date and beneath the last posters name, that blue dot will take you to the last post of the thread. (Not necessarily where you stopped reading)

                  edit.. and I just noticed.. in the quote box, the blue spot next to your name - click on that and it will take you to your original post where the quote originated.
