    Yes, I would say so.
    Nothing in the world takes the place of growing citrus till figs come along. Ray City, Ga. Zone 8 b.

        Funny! For those of you not familiar with coppicing and pollarding, Frank took the opportunity to make a pun of it. Clever. That's what I like about these fig forums: plenty of playfulness.

                          Thanks for the comment FMD. I've been quite lately as I have a lot going on. Also I have been watching one forum that seems to be falling apart, a new one that might have stalled, and this one that is going gangbusters. I like it here and will probably make it home.                               Oh Good gracious I thought he was blindfolded when he did that. Shiver....but I see that it is okay to put figs in planters by the pool. Out comes the trowel and off I go to put some figs among my flowers in the pool beds.
