  • LA Zoo fig trees

I discovered this part of the Zoo completely by an accident, took a wrong turn
There are many trees, most have green figs, probably the 3rd crop like my trees. One fig was close to be ripe, dark and large.
If anybody gets there, check the rainforest exhibit, that's where the trees are.
Now I need to visit that section in July or so to see what varieties they might be.
You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. This gallery has 10 photos.
USDA z 10a, SoCal. WL: Raspberry Tart, Boysenberry Blush

Real nice Igor. It will be interesting to see what you find in July.
