  • Last figs planted this autumn

    I've been in a mad rush to get the last fig trees in the ground before the winter slowdown. Over the last month or so I planted the following figs: verdal (mp), o'rourke, LSU red, LSU Scott's black, napoletana negra (mp), smith and Maltese falcon.

      The climate here is great....the water situation...not great. I'm hoping for lots of rain this winter so the figs get established nicely.
