  • Late NdC

This fig is from a second main crop. Very dark inside and outside, it shriveled on the branch and the taste was very berry concentrated. Surprisingly good for this late in the season fig, like a strawberry jam from a jar!
Very nice. It lasted about 1.5 seconds

Looks really good Greenfig. This was my NDC last week. I was surprised how good it was to be so late and no fruit flys. I should have, no the birdspossimscoonsfoxneighborsworkgone all in one thought.

Patience? Do not know, I have very little of it, it has been exhausted by the baby

Looks great! No frosts yet down there? We had a few good ones up here that put an abrupt end to fig season this week.

But... but... we're only one zone apart, if that. I'm in zone 9b/10a and it's actually COLD here. There are potted citrus and avocados in my garage right now due to anticipated frosts. At least the blueberries and apples are getting their chill hours.

The nights are a bit chilly but the day temps are 70-75.
