When I make post for Cutting trades/sales I have some member trade me cutting or trees... Some Pay for them but one member had wanted to trade sonething special make for me and tis is something I will have forever and wanted to share with you because is still amaze me when I see it !
I am pretty sure Mr. DBJohnson would be up for another trade to one of your special trees or cuttings or to make some deal with you for one of his Hand Made,Hand Designed Leather book/journal's! Tis journal he make for me ask me what images I like. I say the fig and leaf and other side is image of Italia superstition. Is returns bad wishes or words to someone or something. So my new fig journal is no only safe from the bad is also a pleasure to look at as well as keep track of my fig growing experiences and all my notes!

Mike is that symbol on the back to keep the "evil eye" away? I've seen my aunts do this sign.. What is it called again? It sounds something like "Maloik" but Im probably not spelling it right lol

And yes yes! I sure do know of the Maloik! Every time we have a string of bad luck, my dad will always say (shaking his hands and looking up at the sky) "Some body musta put the Maloik on us!" To which my grandma would respond some other words in Italian and tell us all to "be careful" lol! I think the horn is used to protect against this too right?

I have one in all my vecicle. Tis one in my beer truck. I have punchinella corni in my jeep. Papa has so much on his mirror I'm supprise he no get ticket!
We have friend In Naples that hand make tis. She is in Christmas alley.
