A few last figs this season

Everybody's figs look amazing! I am super jealous! I can almost taste the pictures.......

I got 2 more, an Unk. Pastilliere and Vasilika Melissi. Very fine figs by taste.

The figs look great (at least)!
The Alma ripened at a proper time ( not 2 weeks before Christmas should be better. I had a nice Alma but gave it away since I have better figs to worry about.

Breakfast today (clockwise): a big Figo Preto, an Alma RR, an Unknown Owensboro, and two Pete’s Honey.
The Figo Preto and Unknown Owensboro were both juicy, moderately sweet and flavorful, with the FP having more of a fruity acid taste and the UO being sweet and mildly figgie with a nice tasting thin skin. The Alma and PH were tasteless and fed to the trashcan.

My premium figs are finally producing this month. From this last week:
CdDN (3 yr. old tree) gave me a very good fig, sweet and jammy with a touch of fruit acid. Another one on the tree is soft and almost ripe.
A Strawberry Verte was similar and even sweeter. Both SV trees still have a lot of fruit on them and are not slowing down.
An I-258 had an almost mandarin citrus quality, like a good Satsuma. Neither SV nor I-258 were as sweet as their summer fruit, but were sweeter than several other varieties at their peak in the summer.
The last LSU Purple and the first St. Rita were disappointing, -bland with little sweetness.
Finally my grafted Black Madeira produced it first ripe fruit for me, sweet, jammy with a complex hint of something like a grape flavor –perhaps Concord?
A Figo Preto is black and soft on the tree now. I’m waiting for it to dry out a little.
Adriatic JH and the mislabeled Bursa Siyahi RR are still loaded with figs but I don’t know if they will ripen or not. My first Adriatic JH last November was almost the same as SV, but perhaps a little sweeter.
Lebanese Red produced its first ripe fig, a pretty reddish color, but I forget the taste.
Unknown Owensboro in late November gave it's first small good fig -moderately sweet with a strong fig flavor. A last one is ripe on the tree now, perhaps ready for breakfast.
I like having these fig trees in pots so I can move them next to the back door when they have ripening figs. The night critters leave them alone there.

I picked this Adriatic JH in the greenhouse yesterday, man was it good. AJH is one great fig

Those look great! Your must be some of the last ripe figs standing.

I just put the El Molino you gave me in a 15-gallon pot this morning. It took all the rest of potting mix I had at hand, but I'm investing in the future.

The El Molino was spectacular!
Zingarellas were very good and juicy.
The Giovanni was just ok, probably needs more sun.
All from in ground little trees rooted a year ago.
