  • Bigger the pot bigger the tree?

I am curious to tis. My trees in Ground grow much larger, healthier and faster being in ground vs in a pot. If the roots have more room to stretch out will the tree grow faster and health because roots can soak up more nutrients being they no all bound up? I have some tree now in smaller pot that are growing slowly. I wonder if is beneficial to plant in bigger pot to make more grow little faster and health?

Absolutely. It's the goldfish in a bowl syndrome. The goldfish will only grow to the size of the bowl. And in general same as with plants.

The most important factor is watering. If there is too much potting mix and not enough roots to soak up the water, you may get root rot due to the mix always being wet. Generally, a safe bet is to up-pot throughout the year. 1 gallon to 3 gallon to 5, 10, etc.
