Information re: Nero from Just Fruits and Exotics

A few years ago I purchased the Nero variety from Just Fruits and Exotics. Does anyone else grow this variety? It's been in-ground for a few years now but since we've had harsh winters I haven't had a fruit from it. Any info is appreciated. I'm going to be making a few backups of it this year and will keep one in a pot to ensure I get a crop.

I don't know anything about it Tim, hope it does well in ground after this winter as it looks like it'll be a mild one. Did it die back to the ground the previous two winters?

It did die back, but so did everything else :-) Seems to be slow to put on figs if it dies back to the ground. Very healthy looking though. Will have to wait and see how it does in a pot I suppose.

Mine did fruit. It turned out to be a green fig. Some believe it was actually a Smith. JF gladly refunded the cost.
