Moderator announcement

As you can see by the membership numbers the forum is growing fast. I have all of you to thank for that as well as our Admin IT as his behind the scenes work now has OurFigs showing on the first page of Google for a "fig forums" search as well as his pushing me to add a Facebook page that Lou is moving forward.

Because of the increased responsibilities and workload a lot of which takes place behind the scene it has become needed to add 2 more Moderators. I would like to thank Kelby for accepting the job

Thank you. As a general rule what I do is take a look at the top posters then go from there. I try not to pick "friends" for Moderators just those that are online a lot and are helpful. Before I get myself in trouble i'm not saying that the mods are not friends lol just that I try not to pick people I talk to a lot as it, to me anyway keeps the process more fair. There was one person I kind of wanted for the job but I also have to take in to consideration how busy the person is as it does take some time to do the job. At some point I do want to make the process an election by the forum members. Still trying to work that out.

I am pleased and amazed we have so many guests online from day to day. Wills and all the moderators - thank you for such a fun and educational forum. Good news of course to have the membership growth, too. I am spreading the word in North Carolina about Ourfigs and enlisting gardening members when possible. Congrats - Kelby.
