  • Winter Black Madeira

    The figlets started to show in early September....it took 100+ days to get to this point. This came from a cutting started early Feb. It was slightly sweet(because it ripened in the middle of winter) but you can tell it had a complex flavor compared to the other figs i had this past summer....hopefully next year it'll have enough time to give me some really good ones. Hope everybody is having a wonderful winter!!!!

        Thanks guys! This bad boy gave me pretty good growth this season and put out 5 figs(at the wrong time...3 dropped because of cold...2 ripened poorly)....i hope it does better next year....
