The newer version maybe. But not at their price. We need to buy them by the hundreds.

I was thinking the same thing...Very cool but very pricey.

I guessing that the initial versions would be pretty buggy.

Definitely on my list when they work out all of the bugs and bring the price down to a couple dollars per pot.

You should put a link up for us dummies.. I was staring at it with my wife trying to figure out what it was, until I finally searched for it.

I was thinking of buying only one to get readings on all of the different potted figs while in their early growth phases but if the blue tooth communication is sketchy, I guess I too will hold off.

Thanks, I was feeling lazy and just trolling down the line looking for a link not connected to youtube(they block that at work).

              Lol.

I do that sometimes as well.

The BA-1 looked good when I left. Well for a dormant tree in a pot anyway.

My biggest concern besides prohibitive cost is Bluetooth range. Where I will have my potted trees this summer is well beyond the network range of my cable modem.

Also, they don't have Ficus carica in their online database, if that affects anything. Guess you could use apply one of the ornamental figs listed there.
