Well I would quit work then buy a big greenhouse or 3, then buy a 'few' more figs. Fly to visit Ponta Tresa. Visit Pons. Start my own fig quarantine setup and import as many as I can handle. For starters.

My husband and I were just talking about this--I got 4 Powerball tickets at the store just now. I think I'd buy a house with lots of land and have one greenhouse for each country's figs: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, etc. I'd have a gardener for all of the heavy lifting, but I'd spend my time doing the fun stuff: rooting, etc.

I'd buy a house with a huge lot in the Bay Area to have perfect weather AND plenty of space to put the figs and rest of the garden. Then I'd probably buy a mature Galicia Negra tree to save on the heartache of failing to root Galicia Negra. Maybe a Ponte Tresa too.
