I only grabbed one. You know I'd hook you up if I had an extra. Let me know if you're still looking for it at the end of the season, if mine rooted and everything I'll get it to you one way or another.

If anyone has extra De La Seynora please PM me. For some reason I thought the cuttings sale was going to be on the 18th.

Nice! And Good luck! I'm excited for the Napolitana Negra. The way Harvey describes it seems to me like it might be even better than Galicia Negra.

I wanted only Violeta but it sold out while at the movies. So to cheer me up I bought 3 CdDN prusch park for super cheap. I’ve got two of this variety from evdurtschi that are currently filling their pots with roots, the one from Harvey will be stored in the crisper drawer as backups for spring if the others fail.

nice list! Do you root indoors or wait till march/April? If outdoors do you still use parafilm with our humidity?

Banks been warned and family aren't calling me back!

I plan to root most in doors. I do use parafilm on the tops of the cuttings. I do use a modified fig-pop. Instead of sealing the bag at the top, I pull the bag down, over the rubberband. When I sealed the bags, there was too much humidity and too much rot and a very low success rate. I do much better with the modified fig-pop. Now I just have to remind myself to keep an eye on the medium getting too dry. Have had a few rooted cuttings loose their leaves because they were not properly watered. I am hoping they will survive.

I have tried about 4 times and this has been the one that has been the hardest for me to root, and I dont graft unfortunately. I wish you the best of luck my friend.

I think Harvey had a lot of BNR this year - it sounds like everyone was able to get one (even me). I started a CdD Gegantina last week - fingers crossed DE will help the process. Did CdD Geg. tend to fail during initial rooting or at the up pot? I still have a small, gnawed cutting I'm going to try to graft next month.

Ok, I'll fess up. I only bought three:

              Calderona
              Paratjal Rimada
              Rigato del Salento PB

PR has been my white whale for some time.

Collecting figs really started for me with Harvey's sale in 2017. I also followed his videos on direct potting in treepots, with great success, even as a newbie. I highly recommend this approach if you don't have one already.

I joined this forum last night researching varieties others grow in zone 8 and made my first purchase at the sale. I was waiting at 9pm for it to begin until he said it would be rescheduled so I went back to baking bread and then checked 15 minutes later to see the sale was live! I missed out on a few varieties but got a couple that will get me started into the world of more exciting fig cultivars.

                        Nope, that's what I did.
But I ordered a couple of leftovers this AM.
I was happy to get a few De S'Avenc as my new variety and got a couple cheap local unknowns with a replacement for one of my cuttings that isn't looking great,
I think it was fate that I didn't really add many more varieties. I have nearly 100 started so far anyway. All good.for me.

I ALMOST did exactly that. I would have been super frustrated since I missed the initial kickoff last year and didn't get anything on my want list.

El Zilcho, tempted as I was. I’ve got enough to keep me busy and frustrated long into summer this year.
