  • Cuttings for Sale

    Hello there,

The weather turned cold early this year, so I've done most of my pruning already. Below are those that I'd like to put up for sale to the community here.

    Notes on the Cuttings
    • Some of these are smyrnas, and one is a caprifig - don't bother with these if you are looking for trees that will produce edible figs for you easily outside of California.
    • All common fig mother trees have been confirmed through ripe fruit, except Galicia Negra, which was obtained from Harvey two years ago.
    • All smyrnas have been confirmed through fruiting yet, except for Marabout and Inchario Preto, which were obtained from Pete and Harvey, respectively.
    • All cuttings have at least 3 nodes, and have been washed in a dilute bleach solution.
    Notes on Ordering
    • Email your order to me at [email protected].
    • Send any additional emails in the same email string to help me keep things in order.
    • I will process orders in chronological order.
    • I will email you back this weekend with order confirmation and shipping info. It might take awhile, don't worry.
    • USPS priority shipping to US lower 48 only. Shipping cost: 12 cuttings or less is $9, more than 12 cuttings is $16.
    Varietal Type Price/Cutting
    Barnabat (Bournabat) smyrna done
    Black Mission common $2
Black Jack (WW sport) common $2
    Bourjasotte Noir common sold out
Col de Dame Noir common sold out
    Cuervo Oscuro (capri) caprifig $3
    El Molino smyrna $3
    Galicia Negra common $7
    Inchário Preto smyrna $5
JH Adriatic common $5 (1 left)
    Marabout smyrna $3
    MBVS common $3
    RdB common $3
    Sarizeybek smyrna sold out
    Strawberry Vert common sold out
    Violette de Bordeaux common done
    Zidi smyrna done
I would also like to make these cuttings available for free:
    Varietal Type
    Kuato likely smyrna
    Unk. Honey likely common
Kuato is a fig I found growing out of a palm tree near our home in Southern California a couple of years ago. It's most likely a smyrna of course, but maybe somebody outside of CA who got one last year will pipe up with good news. Unk. Honey is a small tasty honey fig of unknown heritage. It came to me from the east, so I imagine it is common.

I'm not really looking for trades right now.

    Happy Figging to all!

Cuttings came today one day early! One was very thick and all the others were thick also with plenty of nodes to experiment! Another plus, I dont have to clean them as they came ready to go. I would recommend this seller. I feel like I got a way better than expected deal. Thanks AndyG!!!!
